NEW SCIENTIFIC FINDINGS OF THE DISSERTATION
The research has:
1. Developed a theoretical basis for discipline, self-discipline, self-discipline education and management of self-discipline education for students at the Center for National Defense and Security Education;
2. Evaluated the real situation of self-discipline, self-discipline education and management of self-discipline education for students at the Center for National Defense and Security Education; at the same time, pointed out the limitations and causes of the limitations in self-discipline education and management of self-discipline education for students at the Center for National Defense and Security Education.
3. Eroposed 6 measures to manage self-discipline education for students in accordance with students’ psychological characteristics and practical situation at the Center for National Defense and Security Education. The proposed measures have a theoretical - practical basis and high feasibility, and can be conveniently applied in the management of self-discipline education for students at centers for national defense and security educationall over the country.

- The results of real situation research of the thesis is a valuable lesson for the management of self-discipline education for students at centers of national defense and security education.
- The proposed measures are specific instructions for managers and lecturers at national defense and security education centers to apply in the process of managing self-discipline education for students at the centers, as well as a document for centers throughout the country to study, apply and implement in the management of self-discipline education for students at national defense and security education centers.
2. Recommendations for further studies
Each center for national defense and security education has different characteristics (regional factors, students, staff, lecturers, facilities, etc.), thus, the degree of requirements for discipline and self-discipline education management also varies. This is a problem that needs further study.
